Previously, Vladislav often used various databases in different organizations (PerpetuumSoftvare, ForexClub and MasterData). All that time he applied databases as a client, so he knows how the database performance is significant to an application. Now, he is a developer of GridGain already five years. They are developing a product with the same name. GridGain is a distributed database designed for high load applications that has all habitual approaches: transactions, SQL, distributed computing. The product is based on open-source platform Apache Ignite. Not surprising, most of the concepts he’s talking about apply to Apache Ignite.
